Best Jerk Chicken in the city!!! I always get either a small jerk chicken tray or a large tray and it's always worth the 45 minutes drive !

Love them 79th will always be my fave the food is delicious and my girl that take the orders is such a sweetheart she gotta be tough sometimes !

I ordered 2 lunch specials 1 jerk cat and 1 jerk white.... also I treated myself to 2 extra jerk sauces .... I literally drink this stuff ya'll lol... it's fire especially since I can make jerk from scratch myself I get allspice and cinnamon overload wich is dope . They never disappoint or leave me feeling unsatisfied whenever I visit their establishment and I'm greatly appreciative for them being in our community. yall better watch out before they get gentrified and go and support your people's

Very professional. Fresh and hot. Oxtails was falling off the bone . Cabbage was to my liking with a slight crunch. Rice and peas was made to perfection . decent portion for cost. Love the new location compared to photos definitely look like a good spot for the summer w/ photo ops (give Cali vibes w the roll up shutters/ garage doors) very spacious and ample . seating. Well organized lines for online pick up and online orders .

I wholeheartedly recommend Jerk Villa! I had their Shrimp alfredo and it was the best shrimp alfredo I’ve ever had in life! Hands down the best food I had in Chicago. I can’t wait to return! Thank you all for a great experience!

now that's how you cook some jerk chicken!!!! the meat was seasoned from the skin too the meat unlike some places that only have seasoning on the skin. the cook was very friendly and food was over all good rice and beans and gravy was cooked perfectly and the cabbage was seasoned and steamed well.

I rode pass this place twice in one day. I kept smelling their food before they open. I had plans on going elsewhere but come to find out the original place that I wanted to try was not open. This was my very first time trying this place. The smells was amazing but the food was spectacular!!! I order the jerk wing lunch and dinner because with the jerk wing lunch you only get 3 wings however if you get the jerk wing dinner, you get 6 wings. My sides was red beans and rice, Mac&Cheese, order a small yams, a small callaloo and a salad. Now at first I was skeptical abt the Mac and cheese because it did look dry but the looks are deceiving. The taste was on point. The yams was flavorful. And this was my first time trying callaloo which is amazing. The plantains that come with your order was delicious as well. Definitely will come back and pig out so more. Now the inside is decorated nicely but they haven't gotten it inspected to fully operate. They need to hurry up because the vibes are giving. Now excuse me for the plates looking halfway gone but I was suppose to do a b4 and after but the way my belly was setup, it didn't go as plan! Just know everything was worth it and taste amazing!!!
